This is beautiful Hawaii however, a light jacket is always a good idea when you are going on deep sea fishing trips (in Hawaii in can be chilly with the trade winds in the morning and night off shore), and you should always also pack some sunscreen, a camera and drinks to keep hydrated. If you are taking a 6 to 8 hour trip on the ocean, it’s very important that you bring food with you or you can order groceries, deli and/or restaurant menu items from the HMF Online Customer Portal. All of the fishing boats supply rods, reels, bait, lures and all tackle required to fish. Please check your boats profile to see if the boats normally supply any snacks, food, bottled water, a cooler for sandwiches & drinks and some ice for any catch you wish to keep. It is also important that you consider taking Dramamine for sea sickness 24 hours before your scheduled fishing trip.
