Join us at Wahine Charters to view oceanic attractions, as we follow the Kona coastline on our Hawaii tours in search of Spinner Dolphins. We practice responsible Dolphin swim interactions and will only enter the water when the dolphins are willing. Our dolphin swim allows you to get alongside these amazing mammals and watch them interact with each other, and you! After the dolphin swim, we will make a brief stop at a beautiful coral reef for some of the best snorkeling in Hawaii. All snorkel gear, fresh island fruit, snacks, and beverages included.

Dolphin Swim - All Trip Related Information
Trip Information
Visitors and locals are always asking us, “Do you know where to swim with dolphins in the wild?” Our answer is always the same. Captain Tim knows where to find dolphins swimming in their wild and natural habitat. They are majestic and intelligent mammals. Join Wahine Charters as we cruise the beautiful Kona coastline as we look for Hawaii’s friendly Spinner Dolphins. It’s not uncommon to encounter Spotted Dolphins and Bottlenose Dolphins all on the same trip! We practice responsible Dolphin interactions and will only enter the water if the Dolphins are willing. Our captian (who has a bachelor’s degree in Fisheries and Marine Science) will also share some guidelines to minimize our impact. “He did a great job positioning us to get right by the Dolphins and a manta ray during the day.” The Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins are usually found close to the shore during the day. Pods of Spinner Dolphin range in size from just a few dolphins, to hundreds of dolphins. You will be able to watch them interact in their natural environment. Some days the Dolphins are very curious and may swim right up next to you. Other days they seem to have other things on their minds. Spinner Dolphins mate year round and you are likely to see mothers and their calves. After our time with the Dolphins, we like to find a beautiful reef and spend some time snorkeling amongst the fish and coral.
